- 1 box firm tofu
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup panko breadcumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 handful spinach optional
prepare all your ingredients as seen below
Start by adding all the ingredients except the water, cornstarch and breadcrumbs to the processor
blend until you have a creamy paste
in a bowl add the cornstarch and water and stir until there are no lumps
grab a golf ball sized portion of the tofu and roll in hand, dip in the cornstarch water and panko
once all the tofu balls are covered, it should look like this
Fry until crispy and golden on both sides
Add to salads, pita bread and enjoy!
