Notes

Hello and Welcome To Uncle Lou's Kitchen today we'll be showing you how to make Vegan Nutella Swirls AKA Rozalach (like the cinnamon ones but a million times better) Rozalach is a traditional Jewish pastry typically made with yeast dough and filled with a sweet filling such as poppy seeds, nuts, or nutella.
But did you know that it can also be made vegan? With just a few simple ingredient swaps, you can enjoy this sweet treat without any animal products. To make vegan rozalach, simply replace the traditional ingredients with plant-based alternatives. For example, use a vegan butter substitute in place of regular nutella. The dough is made from a simple mixture of flour, yeast, sugar, and salt,
and is then rolled out and filled with your choice of sweet filling. The rozalach are then shaped into crescents and baked to perfection. In addition to being delicious, depending on the filling, vegan rozalach can also a healthier alternative to traditional recipes. By using plant-based ingredients, you can enjoy this sweet treat without the added cholesterol and saturated fat found in butter- and egg-based recipes.
